It strikes me that we don't have a thread for horses that haven't been sighted for a while.

Two I wouldn't mind finding out about are Blow By Blow and Winter Escape. Anyone heard anything about their wellbeing and when we might see them?
 
Gordon Elliott says Blow By Blow, last year's Champion Bumper winner @punchestownrace, will run in 5 weeks' time approx after minor setback.

Thanks James. Plenty of time for him to be in the Festival picture, although probably only one run, and relatively little hurdling experience. I wonder if the might hold him back and give it a miss.
 
Noted the other day that Nicholls shows which of his horses are out of training on his website now. A nice touch.
 
Anyone know the status of JP's 'Minella Foru'?

I have this one ear-marked for the Nash, but he has been unsighted so far this season, and has had time-off with sick-notes in the past.

I'm rather hoping he isn't injured, and they are just waiting for the National weights to be announced, before they unleash him.....but I fear he might be on the sidelines again.

How timely. Minella Foru is entered in the Dan Moore Memorial over 17f at Fairyhouse on Sunday.
 
According to John Hales, Politologue will definitely not run in the RSA and indeed may not run at the Festival at all, nothing amiss just looking after him with next year in mind.
 
Anyone know what's going on with Sutton Place? Big things expected this season but not seen as yet.

Just seen he has an entry in the Betfair Hurdle which would be an odd starting place.

Due out in the next 3 weeks - was slow to come back

They said chasing was still the plan but seems a bit late now
