I've put up enough Newton racing pics to last a life time...... there may be a few more to come over the weekend. ;)

For a change here's a few pics from yesterday of The Red Arrows.

what ?! no warren marston or dickie johnston?! I'm sure they would excel at wrestling a red arrow to the ground.

WOW!!!!!! :o

Now, they really are excellent photos, Diminuendo!

(not that your other's aren't of course!)

They are AMAZING dim - fully do justice to how fantastic the RA are. They flew over our house on their way to the Bournemouth show a few days back - I havent seen them for ages, and you forget how fantastic they are.

(BTW - thankyou for the pics, I havent seen them yet - cos im at home till tonight I cant download them within 4 days, will have a look tonight!! )

Here in rainy Gib, we've been 'treated' to a dozen Tornado fly-by's per day for the last three weeks. It's ok so long as you don't want to sleep, cross the border or the runway.

Here's a few sedate piccys for you.

This one shows that baskets could be a thing of the past.

Has anyone been up in a hot air balloon, I would love to know more about the experience.?

Magnificent photos, Dims. Outstanding colour and definition in every one. Nope, have not been in a balloon, but would like to some day, in a white-knuckle kinda way. The front passenger seat in a helicopter was momentarily hairy enough!

It wasn't quite three weeks - felt like it though! Oh joy to be woken up on your day off at 08.30 by 4 sodding Tornadoes flying past....

To add insult to injury they then decided to troop out & fly home on Thursday morning not ten minutes after the BA flight aborted its second attempt at landing and the buses were rolling in for the trip to Malaga. Nice kick in the teeth to see them flying when the BA flight couldn't manage to get down! :angy:

Good photos btw!
