I saw the CCTV footage. It's a bit like watching a football match or a horse race. It's open to different interpretations.

A senior (ex?) policeman interviewed this morning didn't seem to think it was too serious, saying IIRC it's not unusual for people being arrested to clench their arms to their sides to enable them to resist being handcuffed and for police officers then to strike the people on the arm to weaken the muscle and allow them to apply the handcuffs.

It will be interesting to see how this one pans out.
