No Mullins runners in the King George

Betting to 88.9% on the machine, so maybe significant supplementary entries are both allowed and expected.

As I suspected, the market was overbroke on existing acceptors because of the probability of significant supplementary entries - Fastorslow for one may be added to the field.

Have we heard anything anything about Ill Est Francias and his M.O.T?

Feels like a while now since he went for his checks.

Maybe no news is good news.

if nothing gets supplemented it will be the worst renewal in my lifetime. l'Homme Presse could run well if he turns up

Yes, that's why I was suggesting Al Dancer's Badger Beer form might have been good enough.

There's still the chance IEF could be a superstar if he makes it.

Personally I think Grey Dawning could run a monster in the King george if Skelton does decide to go and if they do supplement Fact to File and even maybe Fast or Slow It could be one of the best races I've seen since Moscow, Azertyioup and Well Chief went head to head.

I still enjoy the King George VI Chase and meeting generally and will again this year, but you'd have to be in some sort of myopic denial not to be able to see how strong the Christmas card at Leopardstown is nowadays in comparison to what's on offer at Kempton Park.

You got a taste of the quality gap with the John Durkan and the Betfair Chase only last weekend.
