Sad watching him at any time - wouldn't wish any ill on the bloke but certainly not a comedian in my book!

A genre of goofiness, which includes the (to me appallingly awful) Mr Bean. Never liked it, but I'm also finding the comeback of Enfield and Whitehouse excruciatingly unfunny, too. "Psycho Mr Bean" - Harry gurns like Atkinson, goes into a gents' lav, and murders a bloke quite bloodily. Takes his mag and sits on the loo. End of sketch. Oh, my aching sides.

Not a fan either but he could act. Recall many years ago a drama about cancer patients with Fulton Mackay and Judi dench which was superb. Hope they repeat it

on the comedy note, i watched the Office xmas specials for about the third time (very unusual for me that) last weekend. It is extraordinary how even after so many viewings there are smnall details that still need to be picked up. Really is the finest comedy Ive seen...by a street

Ah, there was a short clip of that film shown, I think, Clivex. Norman lying in bed playing a cancer patient. If it's shown on repeat, I'll watch it as I've never seen it.
