From today's reporting both Appreciate It and Ferny Hollow will go over fences

“I imagine Appreciate It is going novice chasing. I haven’t really sat down and thought about it but he has schooled over fences and he’s a good jumper.
“At the moment we are just getting him fit. At his age though [Appreciate It turns eight in January] I think that would be the way to go.

“Ferny is in great shape. I imagine he will go chasing although I haven’t spoken to connections. We haven’t made any plans made yet for anything to start off. We’re only in early October,” Mullins said on Monday.

Noticeably less conclusive with Ferny Hollow. Surely they should see if he can be a Champion Hurdle horse first. He still has time to go novice chasing later, and the Cheveley Champion Hurdle alternative for open hurdles Quilixios, is likely to have a tough season as a 5 year old. I'd suggest that they might have a re-think with Ferny.

I do think Quix is the telling horse here

If he is deeemd good enough - perhaps they will be brave with FH

Ferny already missed a season, so if he doesnt chase now, maybe he never does

If Ferny Hollow goes chasing rather than a crack at the Champion Hurdle you'd think he and Ballyadam would go opposite directions.

Bravemansgame was good yesterday, and served as a form boost for others, the standout being Ahoy Senor which is still 40/1 for the RSA with 365.

Ahoy Senor one of my Tracker horses, Paul.

Has been kept to flat/galloping tracks this far under Rules, and UR'd in his maiden Point on an undulating track. Just a mild negative for the Festival at this stage for me, and Lucinda obviously has plenty of time to put such concerns to bed.
