NRNB

Anyone know which firms have done this yet for the festival?

Quite a few are nrnb on the big four races Darren and B365 also nrnb for the Ryanair.

Info from the FatJockey site....

B365 are normally first but Bet Victor beat them to it last year by going nrnb all races on the 22nd Feb with B365 a day later, the rest were between 28th Feb & the 2nd March.

Boylesports now NRNB on a host of 2015 festival races including novice hurdles & chases (exc NH chase).

But unfortunately are short @ 7/1 for Nichols Canyon in the Supreme.

Is it me or have are the bookies much later going nrnb this year? It really is a struggle to find any value in the market right now and it's been ripe to take some significant money for a few weeks now if they'd taken the initiative.

The opposite actually Maruco.

Aside from BetVictor who offered free bet for non runners the bookies didn't go NRNB until around 22nd Feb I believe.

No one knows for certain where anything is running. You actually have to be careful not to short yourself by taking a NRNB price.

Look at the RSA. If the front three run then a lot of horses will divert to the 4 miler and if Don Poli goes for the 4 miler than nothing might show up for it and a big field RSA.

Paddy Powers opening day offer must be due soon. They've got their choice this year! I think they'll take on Darlan. Was it them who offered 6/1 on Vautour last year?

I take it you mean Douvan , Bear, even Grassy would give you 6/1 on Darlan

PP refunded 2nd, 3rd & 4th finisher bets on the Supreme up to £50 max as cash last year and it was from bets placed from 26th Feb onwards. They previously liked to take a shorty on but there were no "bankers" in the first few races last year so they changed their approach.

I've also the feeling that this year they'll try and take Douvan on.

Hopefully they do take on Douvan. To my eye there appears to be a lesser depth of talent running against the fav this year than previous years.

I generally take on a shortie in the Supreme, but Douvan really does look head and shoulders above this lot.

Haha! Yes I meant Douvan. Poor old Darlan would do well from the big horse box in the sky. I'm of a similar opinion Hezz. He's the winner in my book so I hope they take him on. It must have been another bookie that offered 6/1 Vautour then. I'm not committing a penny this year before NRNB and all the offers are up and going. I see 32red are giving away £30 in free bets already. They'll give you 3/1 that Mullins has a winner on day 1 but will only pay you in free bets and it's £10 max.

There's sure to be some Evs at least about Un De Sceaux on the day.

Also think people overplay the Don Poli effect - ultimately if he goes in the NH Chase he's stepping up a mile in trip and there'll be enough stout stayers and he isn't due to turn to 6 until April. Anyone would be made to duck the four miler because he turns up for it IMHO.

Free going frontrunner who fell on his backside FTO over fences, first time around Cheltenham too - think he'll definitely be one for the offers though PP normally like to get one in the opener.

No chance. You can chase out horse at Cheltenham but you can't chase out a 4/7 to EVS because there simply isn't 13% to be found elsewhere in the race. He'll be a massive arb in the morning at whatever price he goes to. Personally I think 4/6 would be a nosebleed push.
