You'd have to, wouldn't you? They're all 'chefs' now, not a single one calls themselves a cook, unless they work in care homes. The word 'chef' has lost its once hard-won prestige as a title, unfortunately, and the likes of the great, innovative and original chefs of Mrs Beeton's era (who wasn't a 'chef' but a marvellous cook) would be spinning in their soup tureens.
