Oedipe seemed just the type for today's race and I considered having a punt on him, but he was an alarming drifter in the market (out to 30 from about 12 mid morning) which put me off. There was of course a perfectly logical reason for the drift ~ someone stood to win £380k on the jackpot if he won, so this was probably a simple case of hedging. If only I'd realised that, I may have had a right touch. D'Oh!
