Some people have no idea, do they? At Wednesday's British Comedy Awards, in the section after terrestrial TV had ceased covering the event, Hollywood director Oliver Stone was introduced to present the award to the best comedy film (won by Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit).

He said in his preamble: "It's great to be back in England. I feel like Jack The Ripper days are back. Nothing ever changes here."

There was the odd drunken cackle of laghter but mainly the sound was as that of the sagebrush blowing over the icy desert.

he's probably got it in mind to make a sell out film about it ...arsehole :o me agreeing with ARDROSS?? it must be getting near to good will to all,.. time????

I say give him a break, we all make mistakes and have told a joke in bad taste albeit not live on T.V.....

Actually agree he's an arsehole, i still like his films though. :P

I can't believe anyone would make a "joke" like that, there are some incredible people on this planet, aren't there?

It knocks Big Ron's infamous aside into a cocked hat.
