The brother is doing a clear-out ahead of re-configuring his man cave and is looking for a good home for his old Timeform Annuals.

He says he has Jumps 2006/7 and 2007/8, plus 1975/6.

(I thought he had quite a few more than that, to be honest.)

I think I might have an old Flat one from around 1970-ish too.

He's looking for a good home for them rather than recycling them as bum paper.

Anyone interested please get in touch with me.

Just out of interest, why do people on forums post to say they've messaged people when the recipient will get a message notification anyway?

I'm not being critical of Maurice here as I see various people - usually the more elderly forumites tbf - do it on various forums.

Tbh, in some I suspect it's a form of attention seeking, craving that "ooh, what are they discussing?" reaction in others.

If so, it fails spectacularly with me as I couldn't begin to care who messages who or about what. 😂

I'm pricing this one up (prices for entertainment value only - they're not available! 😂) as....

1/10 Maurice wants to make sure the recipient doesn't miss the message notification

4/1 Anything Else 😂

I'll now fetch me coat (again 😂).

In my case, I find the message notification so small that I often don't see it sometimes for days and don't like the idea that someone thinks I'm ignoring them. And vice versa, of course!

I've always presumed others who do likewise do so for the same reasons.

You're such a gentleman, Maurice, dignifying my nonsense with a polite reply.

Goes without saying you don't have to justify yourself to me - in your shoes, I'd have either ignored me, or told me to F off! 😂
