Hi, Depending on how many places the prize money runs to, after the first 4, 5 or 6 are well established at the tail-end of a race, I suppose most other riders will generally be slowing their mounts down. Do you adjust for this slow-down when noting or calculating the horses' performances? Something like halving the lengths to the next horse? I'm not a time-keeper -- just wondered, that's all.
 
If I've seen it with my own eyes, yes. The Form Book has got better in the last few seasons at noting such things and they tend to take them into account when arriving at their figures.
