Fancied a bit of a punt today so did some research and decided after reading some reviews to deposit $300 in an online casino called Monaco Gold. Depositing that amount entitled me to a bonus of $600.

So, i`m wondering how long do i have to play at the tables before i can make a withdrawal? Unlike Poker sites, these casinos dont keep you informed of how long you`ll have to play. Has anyone got any experience of these sites and on average how long you have to stay there before you can snaffle your bonus up?

You need to check the T&C Euro - it will be there somewhere. 30 times is about normal I believe, with 20 being good and 10 excellent. Gone are the days of 5 times play thru.

Also check it is not a sticky bonus - a nasty device where you are only eligible to withdraw the winnings from your bonus money, not the capital itself, regardless of how many times you play it through.

Sticky bonuses were once only the domain of dubious operators, but they are increasingly popular with casino's that have presumably been repeatedly stung by bonus whores in the past.

It is worth googling the casino you have signed up with to see if there has been any independent reviews of their games; if you are having to play a high number of hands to process your bonus it is worth knowing if there is a significant difference in the house edge between single and multihand blackjack for example.

One other thing to check is which games qualify for "earning" the bonus. Roulette almost certainly doesn't and Blackjack is becoming less common.

I would also advise keeping your own record of funds staked, so that you can stop as soon as you have met the wagering requirement. Casino's are understandably reluctant to point this out to you in the hope that you will keep on playing unnecessarily.
