Went to Cornwall today with my dad, who has wanted to visit Tintagel for some time. Here are a few pics of the headland that English Heritage take care of.
This link will tell you more about the ruins of the castle.

I think the shoreline looks like a pair of buttocks [ do they come in singles ? ]squeezing out a huge turd. Muttley, however, believes that it looks more like a frilly bra.

Diminuendo, Tintagel is a lovely locationl. We went in April 2005 and I loved it. Even the weather was glorious. We too have some fantastic photos of the area and I often have a look at them on my computer if I need cheering up.

We picked up the motorhome this evening, so absolutely no stopping us visiting some of the beautiful UK coastline this summer.

Enjoy the touring Kathy!!!
Griffin, the waterfall is on show in the first pic too, it's below the white buildings near the bottom of the photo. A beautiful area.

Fabulous shots, and fabulous weather, too, goshdurnit! "Buttocks squeezing out a huge turd... " yes, I think that's exactly how the Cornish Tourist Board describes it. :D

Kathy, I do have evidence of that trip with the darling pic of Barney sunset-gazing, don't I? :) Have fun buying all those 'Where to Go' books and planning your routes - "And now for the open road!" said Toad...

Yes, indeed you do, Krizon. B)

The weather is forecast as being lovely in the UK this weekend, especially down Souf, so who knows where we may end up.

Off to sort out Barney's pet passport this week, so that we can nip across the channel too. Whilst we were in The Lake District we decided we would love to go and see The Giant's Causeway, so that's on our shortlist for this year too. :)

This weekend, Dims? I want to go to Brighton, and OH wants to go to Finchampstead. :what: I'll let you know who wins. B)

Warm weather is expected at last! First meeting lost to fog, the second it monsooned, this last one it was freezing cold. Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside... :(
