John Oxx and Paddy Prendergast are to join forces.
Their stables are near each other and Paddy is expanding while Oxx is contrasting so like Jack and Mrs Spratt the match looks well made.
A sign of things to come maybe as the big get bigger and the others have to match up or get off the stage.
 
As I see it this is all about a retirement strategy for John Ox-PP is on the way up -Ox has had a few horrible years.
 
Alex Gifford wrote in today's Sun Inside Track " the pair,facing an uphill battle against the wealth and resources of the bigger stables, have joined forces.
Rather than fight over the scraps left by Willie Mullins, Gordon Elliot and Henry de Bromhead and their super rich owners etc etc ... "
