After a disastrous attempt at tossing the first pancake I made last night (I am still finding bits of pancake around the kitchen), the rest of them came off quite well. Slightly boring fillings though, the usual lemon and sugar in some and banana and cream in the rest. I really must start making them more than once a year.

My first one ended up in the bin - neither of the 2 frying pans that came with the flat are non-stick!! The 2nd one fell apart completely but still tasted good & the 3rd was grand...both with caster sugar & lime juice, accompanied by half a bottle of vino....job well done!

I love those but have not bothered to make them now for 2 yrs can't find the time... B)
My brother(THE CARDIFFIAN) makes ROCK CAKES and they are like rocks... he made some on trick or treat day and gave them to the kids who knocked his door they went to the pavement and threw them at his windows, good job they missed otherwise he would be shelling out for new glass....................
P.S next forum meet up he is going to make some and bring them along... make sure your teeth are well screwed in.............
