Please note everyone, there is no such word as "LAYED".

The past participle of the verb to lay is "LAID".

This applies whether the laying is of an egg, a table or a bet.

Like the vast majority of the members of the Betfair forum you are perfectly entitled to use the (non) word layed. Just accept that in so doing you are wrong.

Thank you for your time.

Can I just put in a bleat not to use 'of' instead of 'have' - and that utterances like 'I'm bored of it' or 'I'm bored with it' are gibberish? You are bored BY someone or something. Thank you.

On the subject of 'have' and 'of' - 'I would have', not 'I would of'.....

And Rory beat me to it :D
You should of read Krizon's post properly before posting that. I'm really bored with this now.
