People posting Initials instead of the horses names

I just think when it's blatantly obvious ie SJ, EOD, VVM etc it's ok, but when the horse is not that well known it's a ballache trying to work out who it is and kills the enjoyment of the thread
 
On a serious note. I find references to 'Pipe's One' or 'Nicky's Medicated Machine' hard to follow. If you can't find time for the name could you at least use it's initials?

Admittedly I am old and prone to confusion.

And you a journalist too. It's usually to avoid needless repetition, you know, repeating names or saying names over and over and over and over and ...
