Pesky amatuer

Well the commentator stated there's been too many bad starts of late so what's the answer? If they can load 30 horses up on the flat why not over jumps?

The answer is for jockeys to pay more attention to the starter, and for you not to snag yer drawers about it.

Might be difficult to get the stalls off the course in time before they came round again at some courses, and what if the vehicle pulling them broke down ?

Good point but the simple answer could be shutes with moveable rails......moveable rails would assure a tapered start rather than a sharp bend and it only take seconds to move the rails back..There has to be something better

That's Bullshit the starter in the race I am referring to was the one not paying any attention........Immediately bookies were giving back stakes it was such a **** up

Ask yourself this one simple question: is this isolated incident - where stakes were refunded by bookmakers - justification for deploying starting stalls in Jumps races?

You’ve over-reacted. You must be bored or pissed or both.
