  Warbler!

Yup, two down, and a couple to go...

The old despot's dead, and justice should've been brought 20 years ago, when it would've looked like it still mattered. It was nicely sidestepped by Chile siding with the UK over the Falklands, so that made it rather inconvenient. Seeing him looking shambolic, frail, ill, would have made 'justice' look merely vengeful at this point. Let's hope his soul is on the point, though - of the eternal toasting fork!

Well Margaret Thatcher will be upset. .
"Personally saddened" is the quote attributed to the mad mongoose this morning.

She's probably concerned that there aren't going to be any quasi fascists left to say anything nice about her at this rate

It's such recent history, yet it feels so Olde Worlde already. Riots in Chile now, although it doesn't say who's rioting because of what. Apparently, the foul fiend is still loved by thousands for 'saving Chile from Marxism'. Even if that means doing unspeakably wicked things to the people you don't like, which tells us more about the opposition than it does about the Marxists, who were democratically elected, thus reflecting the will of the people. Or at least those who were interested enough in change to vote!
