Post Frankel comedown

Is it me or is anyone else finding this season a massive comedown following what have been some truly memorable seasons with Frankel and Sea the Stars before him?

I'm finding it difficult to muster any enthusiasm, which for me is very unusual...
 
It's hard sometimes to divorce the quality of the action with how one is doing on the punting front so whereas I though Ascot was good quality wise I had a mare so didn't enjoy it.

I think the 3yo milers this year look very good and if Dawn Approach vs Magician vs Toronado happens it will be the highlight of the season. Also some exciting looking animals heading towards the Arc.

That all said none of it brings a tingle to the spine like the thought of seeing Our Conor taking on Hurricane Fly and Simonsig running in the King George later in the year.
