I don't often drop into chitchat, but I'm getting as much 'forum' as I can before 24th when I go away to the Balearics [dog sitting!! fare paid and there's a swimming pool... also atr tho not - sob - ruk, or for some reason Ch 4 which is always unobtainable]

Ney was shot for treason after Napoleon's defeat (by order of the new government or whatever they called themselves).

It's not a job, I don't get paid... in fact I'm a bit miffed at going off just when my horse is starting to get the idea!! - esp as he's likely to go to the sales end Oct. Still, at least he;s likely to run at atr tracks! - so I can follow him from afar

It's family, house and dog are my cousin's... she's married to a very rich lawyer. I lived in ibiza c1970/71 so it's always fun to go back and meet up with the other Dinosoaurs, as we oldies from the hippie era and before have been dubbed. I dare say I'll manage to enjoy myself, and the house is magnificent and in lovely country, although at the 'wrong' end of the island for my social life!
