I've been looking for the Postman Pat spoof to run on my PC - all the versons I've sen are too blurry but I think it's incredibly funny...

Anyway, I found this - enjoy!

scary movie

Actually, even better than the clip (but, thanks, Songs!) is finding out I'm the one millionth person to view the site, so have won a free laptop and also a free iPod, while joining Gala Bingo online at the same time! :) Now all I need to do is win a million playing Bingo and I'm sorted!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! What's the betting the 'free laptop' never materializes? :brows: Can we report them to 'Watchdog' for lying through their teeth?

Just don't part with any money

No, I won't do that, Brian. I've been fair inundated with 'free vouchers', 'free this' and 'free that' stuff by e-mail since, from various linked webs, I guess. I think the end line is that after they've hooked you in saying you're going to get a free laptop because you're their millionth viewer (lies, lies!), you'll then be directed to hundreds of sites where they'll hope you buy loads of unnecessary goodies online. There's supposedly a 6-week delivery period to receiving the laptop, during which they think you'll be whizzing in and out of the sites, ordering thousands of pounds' worth of schmutter. Some hope! :D

Yes - I think I'm suppose to chase a whole load of sign-ups until I get to the one where I'm supposed to take out insurance in order to 'win' a 50" or some daft-sized telly - the scam seems to be that you just endlessly follow a series of sign-ups for this and that site, then at the end of the rainbow there's another to sign up and pay for. Not very ethical stuff, to be honest. Safer to stick to the PDSA's annual draw!
