ERNIE CALLED...this morning to my abode.. with a £50 xmas gift, but has he ever called at your house? And what size prize or prizes have you reaped?

I think I have had 3x£50 prizes this year can you do better than that :rolleyes: bad return really but always hoping to reap the BIG UN one day :o .............
 
The answers are no, and no, but Ive only got £150 or so invested in Ernest. Considering the number of years he's caretaken the money, I think he's doing a pisspoor job, to be honest. I suppose I should bung in a couple of thou to stand a better chance of winning £50.
 
We were discussing Premium Bonds today at work. My boss has some and in the past year he's won three lots of £50. A small return on his investment (which I believe to be in the thousands) but it's tax free and he's certainly not going to lose any money doing it. If I had any savings I'd probably do the same thing.

*wanders of chuckling at the prospect of having such a thing as savings*
 
I've got some Premium Bonds somewhere - got a feeling they're only ten quid's worth though!! Got them for my christening all those many years ago...

...haven't won anything either... :(
