Shannon Rock has a great chance today, with a return to a more exacting trip very-much in his favour. Net Lovely has stamina questions to answer, Rubi Ball is a bit too out-of-form for my liking, and the rest have largely been beating each other in somewhat unconvincing fashion. The race probably won't take a great deal of winning - for the cash on offer, at any rate - and the trainer knows how to get the job done here. The 4/1 (bits of 11/2 on Betfair) is good enough for me.

Good to see Bob Buckler have a crack today with Double Dizzy. I hope his enterprise is rewarded with a fat stick of prize-money.

I can never catch him right but conditions look ideal again for Rubi Ball. He appears to be trained for targets and if he's on a going day 9/1 is a massive price.

Agree on Rubi Ball - looks gone these days sadly. Will take some getting judged on the Listed Chase, Ozamo winning by a distance.
