Why is the 1,000 Guineas worth £241k to the winner but the 2000 Guineas worth £226k? I thought it'd be the other way round, like the Derby and the Oaks. Surely this is sexist to the colts :lol:

As (sweep)stake races, wouldn't both purses be dependent on entry fees collected?
