Yes, Derek - that's what makes you so tiresome to deal with.  I lobbied during the last few days to take you off Mod Control, in fact.  The reason wasn't altruistic.  The prospect of five people - two of them in your own senior age range - having to continue to vet your posts for the foreseeable future was disappointing and depressing.   I said I would far rather we took you off control and treated you like an adult, but that when you again contravened the site's rules you could be permanently banned.  It'd then take up a lot less time in the Moderators' Section - but it would be much more pleasant if we could trust you without the need for nannying.
