Anyone use raceform? Mine isn't updating properly, again. Have sent them another email. I'm not getting any 'in focus' or comments for the runners on the 28th and 29th. Tried to do it manually, but that just removed the RPR's, so I'm worse off than before I tried. The 30th RPR's aren't through either, and they usually are by now.

Anyone else, or is it just the version I'm using? I doubt they'll get my email until Monday now, so I'm not too happy about this.

For researching anything other than basic queries/systems it's pretty useless, as it takes too long. Draw stats are useful.

It is the official form book and being able to interact with it is worthwhile. Nicer than using the RP imo and timeform from what I saw of that. Though data is the same as in RP (topspeed instead of split second, but both about as bad as each other).

Another useful thing is being able to export data from it, then import that into an excel spreadsheet.

Overall, I find it worth while, but it is also very dated. They keep adding small new gimmicks rather that giving the whole thing a long overdue revamping.

Examples being..

Mouse wheel doesn't scroll pages.
Jockey names not visible in overall form.
In focus cut off due to word limit.
OHR's not updated in horse profiles (That has got to be pure laziness on their part, as their sister company The RP keep it up to date).

So at the end of the day, I still refer to the RP for certain things (to see if Jock gets on with horse is easier in RP), while other things are more in-depth with raceform (trainer stats for example).

They need to update the whole thing though, but I still don't mind paying the subscription for what it does. That might just be because I've used it for that long, dunno.
