I was wondering if anyone had any experience of racing databases and software programmes?

I have spent huge amounts of this Winter compiling my own standard times and my own speed rating methodology resembling the Andrew Beyer method with elements of Nick Mordin's methods too. Trouble is, I don't know where to store the damn ratings.

I currently pay £200 a year for the RP website which is ok but it automatically adjusts for weight unless you insert ratings manually which is a tedious process on top of actually calculating the ratings. The only alternative that I can see is Raceform which costs £45 a month which is pretty expensive for a piece of pretty basic software.

Is anyone aware of any reasonable alternatives which can store personal ratings easily?

Proform Professional is an outstanding piece of Racing Database, and is £350 a year, it's a detailed tool and you can use lots of personal input, as well as having it's own system builder built in.
