Bit of an oddball question this, and perhaps no-one knows the answer, but I'm prepared to give the collective cerebral might of TH a chance regardless.
Say you wanted to use pictures of racehorses commercially i.e. as part of a branded product. How would you go about obtaining them for use?
These photos would need to cover the last 40-years or so (possibly even older) so assume the originals are owned by someone else. Presumably there would be a royalty to pay? Or is there a big digital vault somewhere on the Web where you can lift them for free (seems unlikely)?
