If any one has last Saturdays Racing Post and could spare a minute I would be grateful.

Put a bet on for a friend on the Cez winner. Placed it with Betfred and took a price as requested @ 25/1, fairly sure it was BOG.

I've paid out at 66/1 in good faith, but the baldy one has only paid 25/1.

They initially told me it was because I took an ante post price on Friday afternoon. When I challenged this, they then said it was not a BOG race, which I find strange, if not impossible.

I know they are BOG on the net, but if anyone can check the ads for Saturday, I would be grateful.

I probably go in the bookies 3 times a year, as I do all my betting on the net and phone, but decided to call in as I was getting my hair cut near by.

It won't have been Ante-Post as you placed it after the decs (ie. Thursday morning) so will be NRNB.

As for BOG it's a grey area as to when this applies from with some firms - IMO it should be from whenever they go NRNB so if they're pricing up on the Thursday morning when final decs are made though some firms will have done Friday night or Saturday morning.

I don't go in Betfred often so unsure about their in shop BOG offering but I'd imagine that the Ces was a BOG race but only from shop opening on the Saturday.

Iv'e no worries regarding the timing of the bet Irish, as I know I'm on firm ground on that issue. The level of staff training nowadays with this firm is dire, so errors are on a regular basis. Years ago I would probably accept it as my error, but these kind of issues seem to be on the rise.

I just need details of the ad in Saturdays Post, before I go back in.

Their ad is on page 5. ATP's price was 40/1 in the ad. Quarter the odds first five home. It says nothing about BOG.

Apparently they match Hills in the shops on BOG if they are nearby, so my final hope is the fact that there is a Hills 50 yards away.

I had a mate who backed Royal Box @ 4/1 with Laddies. It won at 8/1 and it took him 10 days, before they paid BOG, even though it was clearly stated.
