Racing today.

We all had a problem with wind at Lingfield today! Stonking great gale blasting head-on into the finish for the poor horses. God knows what times were like - going doesn't tell the whole story when making allowances for Soft or Heavy and there's a 60 mph headwind.

Spent some time at Lingfield either walking somewhere very fast or taking ages - depending on which way wind was blowing! Also saw a fair few people chasing hats.

Good old Navan, then! Potential inspection for Plumpton tomorrow. It was +4C there yesterday, with not more than a leaf, rather than a ground, frost anticipated, so Mark Cornford (Clerk) is confident it'll go ahead, but the going might change from today's call.

It's lovely and warm here Reet does that count? :0)

Hope Newbury is on I'm dying to see how Cedre Bleu gets on. He was no match for Spirit Son but when he galloped Titan De Satri into the ground he looked 100% a chaser.

I think he could be a top class chaser in the future

No probs at Plumpton, it was just -1C last night, they've had the take-off/landing covers on for a few days, too.
