Nigel Twiston Davies' head lad Sparky Bevis is in an induced coma after an accident on his farm .
 
Yes lots on social media and his son has started a Justgiving page. Seems they don't know exactly what happened but skull fractures and facial injuries. Fingers crossed for him.
 
And I’ve just found out this evening that trainer Claire Hitch also had a serious fall between Christmas and New Year badly damaging the nerves in her neck. She’s currently in Taunton hospital with a view to moving her to Salisbury. Apparently she wasn’t found for several hours as she had been riding out on her own and by the time she was found was suffering from exposure. She’s yet to regain feeling in her arms or hands either and they think this could be life changing.

Jeremy Scott and his team have been providing considerable support, helping out in the yard. It just goes to show you how close knit the racing industry is and how fragile life can be.
