Being reported by many news agency's that Jimmy Saville passed away this morning aged 84 :(

Think most people of a certain age will have watched Jim'll Fix It at some point, but more impressive is the £40 million he raised for charity!

I don't really associate Jimmy with Jim'll Fix it..I remember him more in black & white on TOTP in the mid sixties..especially when he had his hair half black & half white;)

unreal amount raised for charity..14 million or so

will be sadly missed by many of my generation i'm sure
 
He always looked a total goofball to me when I saw him on TOTP, but the tributes flooding in about personal small kindnesses as well as the humungous amounts he very humbly raised for good causes are stunning. Nothing but good words and respect for a very good-hearted man. Looks like he's got a VIP pass straight to those Pearlies for a set of Platinum Class wings.
