After the tough 2 years that he has had, what a credit Robbie McNamara is to train his first winner today.

The first of many and hopefully he ends up with a good horse or two.

His bumper winner is a very decent animal the way he won.
Delighted for him and the few people racing tonight gave him a decent reception.
I have an autographed race card if anyone would like to make a bid !!!!

A moment's silence also given for photographer Liam Healy Listowel and "Phonsie" o' Brien , Vincent's younger brother R.I.P. who both died during the week.
Both were very popular racing folk belonging to their own family dynasties who have shaped Irish and International racing in their time.

Well said. He must have had his dark moments but this is great for him and, as you say, may it be the first of many.
