It is amusing until you discover how it works.
As Krizon says, whatever number you think of it will always produce the same symbol. Try it with any numbers you like and you will always get the same symbol.
This is because the answer you come up with will always be a number dividable by 9, ie 18 27 36 etc, and these numbers will always have the same symbol
When you try again you will be looking at a different grid, but every number that is dividable by 9 will have the same symbol.
