Mate of mine is at RA on Friday, and foolishly asked me to mark his card. He was somewhat unimpressed with the hat-pin I sent him through the post, and has asked me to put the feelers out with the Flatulent Tendency.

If anyone is strong on anything for Friday, it would be just swell and mighty neighbourly, if you could post them here.

Your support is appreciated.

Cheers, Grass.

Well I'll stick one up though she has something to prove after Newmarket. O'Brien has admitted he made a hash of her preparation for that. She was one of the best 2 year old fillies around last year. I can forgive anyone one bad race. So Tapestry is one who I would give a second chance. She is an e/w price and seems like they are keen to run her. Final Decs tomorrow.

Thanks, Frankel.

Bar, please be more specific - I expect others to do research on my behalf.

Grasshopper, why don't you tell your mate that you have long been such a smartarse about the flat that when you asked for tips, people told you where exactly to take a long run and jump to? :p

looking at the clock from yesterday..you have to wonder if the 2yo's Wes Ward runs here are actually 3yo ..the one yesterday and Jealous again recorded the fastest ever speed figures awarded in this country to 2yo's...both those horses are 10/15lb faster than any 2yo i've ever seen.

I'm hoping that in the 3.05 spanish pipedream is not another one..because the one i'd be telling your mates to back is ANTHEM ALEXANDER...nap of the day for me..this will give em some cash for friday

don't tell em some erbert with a stopwatch told you though;)

and then tell them what Hamm posted above:)

Hamm, it's a measure if how good a pal I am, that I'm prepared to fish in filthy Flattie-infested waters, when there's bugger-all in it for me personally. Natch, the fact that I'm a smart-arse assuredly won't come as news to him.

I was actually offered a seat in his box for Friday, which I naturally declined on taste/class grounds......but I did mention the Tingle Creek meeting to him, and a couple of Friday winners fired in his direction, might help close the deal on that! :D

I didn't tell him because I was only after Friday's winners......please do pay attention, pal.

PS. Well done......your maker will ask for an explanation for your actions.

Bronze Angel has been disappointing this season but back at the track where he first came to my attention when third in the Britannia he has an each way chance in the last.

Doesn't henrythenavigator hold the track record for 2yo over 6f from his Coventry win?

i did pay attention...thought it would help...but as you not bothered about being helped..then bollix for friday;)

EC, he isn't a punter, isn't interested in building a tank for Friday, and wouldn't have backed it even if I'd told him - he just wants to have an informed dash on the day, which is why I asked about Friday alone.

no i meant fastest speed figure not time...i'll dig out that Jealous Again figure later...i just find it odd that the fastest 2 speed figures i have ever given to 2yo's are from the stable...and when i say fastest..i don't men a couple of pounds

only jossing ...i'm sure you will have some ammo

see..if you were a flat loving tosser it could be to your advantage some days;)

1uelly

I have not exactly been firing the winners in grassy but i should say i am extremely sweet on wigmore halls place and win chance in the second race. Don't be concerned he's just had one run this season as he is 7 now, so needs a bit of freshness but loves good or firm ground. Tom queally takes over from jamie Spencer which may be a good thing seeing what has happened today. i really do fancy wigmore hall to put in a bold and brave effort. They have pitched him at a level he can do the business in again i reckon.

The Starspangled filly in the first is a price.
He is the first crop sire of the year and can emulate New Approach by having three winners here.
Dylan Mouth is an ew bet in King Edward VII .
The Yeats horse in the Queens Vase is sure to stay.
A nice ew patent for a beginner !
