Morning!

Lots of racing, isn't there?

Firstly, no idea about the Guineas and not a lot of enthusiasm for the race, if I'm honest.

It's the sort of Saturday where I'm wary of having a whole bunch of bets 'for the sport'. Not for me since it's such early days, isn't it. So far all I've done, really, is watch and watch again and found just two of notable interest thus far on the flat. With that in mind, I'll be having peppercorn bets and enjoy the day. If they all lose, then not much damage is the call. I'll be having these tiny flea-bite nibbles:

Hand Of God - Newmarket 2.20

Mr Hampstead - Goodwood 2.40

Mr Harrison George - Thirsk 3.50

Win patent.

Mon Na Slieve - 4.55 Thirsk

Hurricane Bay - Uttoxeter 5.55

Mini Fortune - Uttoxeter 7.00

Ew patent

The Gradual Slope - Punchestown 3.05 Ew

Good luck with whatever you go with. :) 💙❤️

Just a quick word regarding football.

Do you know, literally everyone I talk to agrees that the semi finals of the FA Cup should not be played at Wembley but that the venue should a one-off, special occasion that is the cup final.

Then we're told that, at last, the game will kick off at 4.30 not the traditional 3pm.

then we see that after the final is played, there'll be more premier League games to be played. The final had always been the topping, final game of the season, giving a showpiece framing. No more.

I ask you: is anyone else just thoroughly hacked off with how our game is being served? No sense of tradition, no longer a final that is special for the fans; just another twisted cash-cow for the money men.

I don't know about you but I think it's appalling.:censored::poop:😡😧

As far as I'm concerned the game itself lost most of its appeal with the introduction of VAR. When I can't celebrate a goal as soon as the ball hits the back of the net I've no longer much interest. All this chopping & changing adds nothing either.

Edit - Leeds have just equalised, I hope it stands
