A few of watching interest.

Immortal 3:50 Ascot

Unraced, but this may be the very start of something special for a horse Henderson describes as “ he'll be a breathtaking chaser one day”

Imperial Aura 2:25 Haydock

Once a top class chaser whose world fell apart last season he takes the first tentative steps back in a stayers hurdle. Can Kim Bailey turn the trick?

Boothill 3:15 Ascot

Also on the come-back trail having featured in many a “horses to follow” list, he ran pretty well to win at Newton Abbot displaying a fine bit of acceleration to put it to bed. 100/30 atm and maybe worth more than just a watch.

Aside from these I’ll just savour the big two and hope they live up to expectations.

Well, that was a gloomy day, but Boothill brightened it a bit. Looks like KB has work to do to bring Imperial Aura back. I hate seeing erstwhile top horses struggle. Have to wait for another day to see if Immortal is made of anything.
