2.50 totescoop6 Elite Hurdle (Ltd H'cap) (2m)
3.25 Badger Ales Trophy (H'cap Chase) (3m 1 1/2f)

surely not, with the November Hcp, The Badger Beer and a 7f Hcp in the mix, this will be rolling over again.

The Nov handicap will be a lottery once again.

The Badger Beer is hardly a difficult race to find the winner of. The Doncaster races will be difficult to impossible if the ground comes up soft but if not will be merely tricky. There is a 90% chance that this will be won. The only factor which prevents that is the possibility that all the big syndicates have gone skint. When the bet was won before on November Handicap day, the winning syndicate permed every single runner in the big handicap which was won by 50/1 shot Royal Cavalier. With over £3m to be won, you can be sure that some seriously massive perms will be played.

Easy peasy, really!

My opinion is that if it's worth millions but you think it won't be won, you should still have a go with a reduced stake; the chances are that there will be a single winning ticket and that would be worth a fortune if you were lucky/clever enough to be the sole winner. Remember that next week's place dividend will probably amount to at least a months wages for most of us.

A year's in my case I should think LOL!

it will be even more massive this Saturday... will it be easier when the jumps seaasn is properly under way? or will they add in some 14 runner handicap from Lingers??

There is a big meet-up with both FF (10th Anniv) and TH at Cheltenham next Saturday
It would be mad not to have syndicate efforts at this - either each Forum or together

My suggestion is that we each write two S6 slips and then we all pool them - that way we could get a lot of well-informed perms. Not sure how that could be done to include those not going though...

Had this conversation last year; it wouldn't work unless one person had final call on what the selections would be. That's how other syndicates work.

No - I mean we all do our own 2 sheets, after consultation, and give them all in to be counted, with the money, then a deputation goes and gives them all in (so it's witnessed!). We'd be more likely to get a winning combo that way than just all going it alone - we'd be bound to choose a lot of the same horses of course.

I would only work for those there on the day of course and at £4 each only be a bit of fun, but we might get lucky between us! Anyone feeling *sure* they had a winning line could do a dupe of course LOL

I'm gonna chuck a couple of grand at it next week, with 3 of my mates from Turners, and 2 of Gary Moore's owners, so a 10k pot or so should mean that we can get a strong hand.

I chucked 320 at it today, and went out in win in Nov Hcp and got to the last leg on place, so bit gutting.

That'll be true of the majority of professional lines Chris. The first three results were almost too easy (surprised Icelandic was so big) and in fact only Cornish Sett of the six winners was rated worse that 3rd by Timeform, including Invincible Force who was rated joint 3rd top, while the first two winners were clear top rated.

Harry Patch 100p (next best 98)
Les Fazzani 120 (nb 113)
Icelandic 126 (3rd, top 131)
Tropical Strait 120 (j2nd, top 121p)
Cornish Sett 148 (7th, top 155p, btn sh hd)
Invincible Force 119 (j3rd, top 122)

This may be a good week to start subscribing!

I agree with the above that it would have to a proper perm to stand a realistic chance. Pity we can't have a go with such a big pot.

Next week's C4 schedule, although the last few weeks show that the race schedule for the Scoop6 is showing less and less correlation with the arranged TV schedule. I believe they would include six races from Steepledowns if they were allowed. I would adore it if this really was the lineup but I have a horrible feeling Uttoxeter, or worse, Great Leighs might crop up.

2.00 Cheltm Servo Computer Services Trophy H'cap Chase (3m 3 1/2f)
2.35 Cheltm Paddy Power Gold Cup Chase (H'cap) (2m 4 1/2f)
2.55 Wetby totesport.com H'cap Chase (3m 1f)
3.10 Cheltm Cleanevent Juvenile Novices' Hurdle (2m 1/2f)
3.25 Wetby totescoop6 H'cap Hurdle (2m 1/2f).
3.45 Cheltm Open H'cap Hurdle (3m 1 1/2f)

A distinct lack of handicaps (bar a nursery) could save you from Great Leighs being added to the schedule Rory.
