In doing some organising of the flat I realise that I have quite a few old motorcycle magazines and various other publications. A lot of them are pre-sixties, including some manuals and old style log books. I'm no longer much interested in them and was wondering about trying to sell them on E-Bay.
I've never used E-Bay before either to sell or buy, so if anyone has experience of it, any advice would be welcome.

99% of the time it has been a positive experience for me.

A few months ago I sold all my worldly possessions on Ebay, from the mirrors on my wall, to the curtains, to my bed, to my car.

Tips

If you are bothered about guaranteeing a good return, set a minimum price.
If you are less concerned then don't as you will save money on commission and in the long run make more money.
Make sure you get the postage costs right before you advertise. Nothing worse than something selling for a few pounds only to pay it all to Royal Mail for the privilege.

Once again, i can only apologise.....i had it from a good source that the horse would not be beaten by any horse on this earth.....then again my source was Oliver Brady!!

Bets - are you copying that guy who sold everything, went to Vegas, and stuck it all on red? :D

Nope, although that would have been fun. I just woke up one morning and fancied a change. Most of the proceeds have been spent in nice restaurants or bars.
