There was cross-party condemnation yeserday for the British National party's byelection leaflet which exploits images from Thursday's atrocities.

The leaflet produced for Thursday's council byelection in Barking, east London, in which the party hopes to gain a seat, shows an aerial photograph of the bus that was devastated by an explosion in central London, killing at least 13 people. The headline is: "Maybe now it's time to start listening to the BNP."

Sick bastards.

Extremism feeds counter-extremism, so no-one should be surprised at either side's tastelessness. You may as well say 'sick bastards' about Al-Zarqawi's dedicated band videoing themselves cutting off Ken Bigley's head, Brian.

Britain has always had a strong anti-Semitic bias, which I know you know about - from their persecution centuries ago in York, to how no Jew could be in Parliament (viz. Michael Howard), let alone become a lord, viz. Lord Sieff of M&S - one of the biggest donors to Israeli Zionism. Now that this branch of the Semitic race has been officially undemonized, the Arab branch is replacing it on the anti-Semites' agenda. And one of its factions is doing a wonderful job of demonstrating why it should be hated, too.

Unfortunately, these factions are helping the ignorant to tar all Muslims, regardless of their race, with the same brush. It's a given that mosques and all-Muslim buildings (such as schools or shops), will be attacked, as the most bigoted of the ignorant use the sights sent from Iraq, other attacked countries, and the London atrocities as the reason to do so. Just as the current Al-Queda cell/s - still hugely consisting of Talebanis - justify their atrocities. So far, the BNP's 'sick' action looks pretty limp compared to what real bigots can do.

George Galloway wasted no time at all in saying his piece after the tragedy last week - he was really quite smug about it all, twisted bastard that he is.

Defence of WHOM, Brian? If you tell me which of the two organizations you think I'm defending, I might be in a position to reply. I'd have thought anyone would recognize that I find both indefensible.

What I find strange is that you've called the BNP 'sick bastards', but been unusually muted about the activities of the Al-Queda cell in London.

??? Then you haven't been doing too much reading on here lately!!!

I read everything you cut and pasted, or put up a link to, Brian. I've yet to see any direct reference by you regarding the 'sickness' of the Al-Queda 'bastards', though. Are you going to tell me who it is I'm defending strangely?
