There really are some sick people out there :angy: just watched sky news report say three men have been arrested for the alleged abduction & Rape of a THREE YEAR OLD :angy: :angy: :angy:

Indeed.

It is easier to imagine how an individual perverted/sick/mentally deranged/evil person could do something like this, but how does a group of three people assemble and effect this without even one of them being pricked by his conscience and saying; "hang on a minute lads, maybe we shouldn't be doing this"?

Yes abducted 3 miles away from here app; but I have not got any more info other than that's been published .... :o

If ever there's a reason to castrate these arsholes!! surely this is it???? what sick people we have to tolerate...........? :angy: :angy:

There was a case in north Wales last week where a guy jumped into a quarry to drown his two kids as well ...o/k you may judge that as a crime of passion? but hey what's happening is this the NO DETTERENT!!!!! I was on about a few weeks before????

What frightens me the most is that the little girl was snatched from her home, just like the six year old girl who was abducted and assaulted last week. And according to the BBC site, she went missing between 7pm and 11pm but the police don't know exactly when. I put my girls to bed at about 7.30pm and I don't check on them until they get up the next morning. If anybody broke into my house and took one of them, I wouldn't know until the next day. I know it's highly unlikely that anybody would do that, but I know I will not be able to stop myself from checking on them tonight.

So that's two little girls snatched from their homes in the past week or so. I know I shouldn't panic and that our country is relatively safe, but as the mother of three girls aged 4,6 and 8 it doesn't stop me :(

And for those perverts responsible, hanging is too good for them. Hung, drawn and quartered in public might prove enough of a deterrent for others

*Please excuse my hormonal rantings*

only to be expected GRIFFIN by any person thats had/got children to bring up...nowt wrong with that babe......

Yes I should have highlighted the six year old as well............. :angy:

Castration ffs! Is that it??? :angy: :angy: :angy:

:o that's only starters :o CAJ...........It'll stop them fcuking about any more??? :angy: then let the women have them then, to do whatever they would want to do with them?........

Can anyone tell me, hand on heart that if you caught one of these sick b******s messing with one of your kids, in my case grand children, my own lads being in their mid twenties, you would not kill them, please be honest, I would,, and hope the court took in to account the circumstances, ie= temporary insanity and sentence me accordingly.

If it were to be proven that these men did commit the crimes that have been alleged what is the appropriate response from a civilised society? Bearing in mind that thay were caught by chance away from the area ,were they going to share their prize capture with others? In any case is it likely that they would have let the poor child live?
In my view such people cannot be rehabilitated and are so evil as to be outside of a society that is civilised enough to accept that capital punishment is not the way to deal with those in the society who will commit murder for greed and or passion. Most crimes though unacceptable, such as the murder of the policewoman recently, are seen as events that will happen, with or without capital punishment. A crime of this nature is way beyond that and if the perpetrators had killed her then they would have deserved to die. In fact I would feel no qualms about assisting in their departure.

I reckon you've about summed it up there, TS. People with such severe pyshcological disorders are never going to be rehabilitated but like you say, what can be done in a civilised society? It's a terrible conundrum.

The girl is three, yet she's not in bed by 10.30 p.m.? Who was putting her to bed - one of her five siblings, or her mother? How was she able to be lured outside to a car - didn't her mother notice anything? Is everyone sitting around goggle-eyed at the telly, with kids running around anyhow, or what is going on in these homes? I might've been bathing myself at 6 years old, but I know my mother would've been coming in every few minutes to see how I was doing, and to towel me down. I don't understand how such very young children aren't in their beds, and outside doors are not secured by sunset, but perhaps some of the parents on here can tell me. These are such odd cases, because the abductions are happening directly from the homes, rather than children being snatched on their way to school or a playground.

Jon,

That was certainly my reaction to the 6-y-o in the North-East, I just can't believe someone can go into a "strange" house walk into the bathroom and abduct a child without anyone noticing.

It was 7 in the evening ffs, surely they weren't all off their faces with a child in the bath.

Yes & mine! you here of even older children 10yrs-14yrs being taken from outside somewhere at 10pm at night :what: for gods sake what are they doing out at that time of night? I have a son who is 14yrs old next month & once a week he goes to Scouts which does not finish until 9.45pm its only up the top of our road about 300yrds but either I or my OH walks up to meet him at this time of the year, during last summer whilst it was light when he came out I would wait outside in the front garden & keep an eye out for him walking down the road, I even worry about him doing his paper round at this time of the year! over protective may be but he's safe!

If the three year old was outside, I presume with a parent or family member, perhaps she was taken by someone who knew them. That might explain why two men were arrested even before the girl had been found.

The news last night reported that she had gone upstairs (alone) and was somehow tempted outside by a man. The idea that they knew her would also fit that stuation.

Especially as the BBC website reports an "alleged" abduction before going onto explain how the child was recovered after a high speed car chase on the A4 between Marlborough & Hungerford (a road I know very well!). That seems as though there is some doubt as to whether the child was abducted or not? It would also suggest that the child probably did know her attackers as she may have gone to them.

Ah, fair enough Brian - I thought the "alleged" would only have to be used with regards to the accused, rather than the crime too.

Surely it was an alleged high speed car chase as well.
