He is one I noted last season to keep an eye on for this one - won well today (he ought to have done given race conditions) but I could see him land a big handicap this season and develop into an Irish National horse or maybe even an Aintree one.
 
Im know expert on handicapping but surely he would not be well handicpped in any shape or form given how solid his formlines are from last year.
 
I certainly think he's seen to best effect with cut in the ground (despite his run at Aintree).

I also have in the back of my mind the thought that he is a bit of a hound.
 
Quality horse, he was unlucky that he came up against Cooldine in Thurles a number of times as a novice hurdler. This season should see him develop as a top chaser and I think i read Hughes will give him a Gold Cup entry.
