The storyline this week reads as follows.

Harry is called to a race course after a jockey is crushed to death by his horse and when two members of the syndicate which own the animal are killed in a helicopter crash Leo and Harry start to uncover a betting scam.

Might be worth whiling an hour away on Sunday and Monday evening at 9PM.

It was filmed at Windsor. If you are unlucky enough, you might see a forumite in one of the crowd scenes........................... B)

Gasp! Hunneyb - that wasn't you falling off your spike heels, clutching a glass of fizz, was it?

The 'betting scam' is so sophisticated I wonder that no-one has thought of it before. You 'know' the favourite won't win (because instead of engaging Kieren to box it in, you've poisoned it), so you back all the other horses. :brows: Right, that's me off to Willy Hill's tomorrow...

Aunty K.....haven't you learnt anything from this august forum???!!! You won't get a decent bet on at Willy Hill's!!!!!

:shy: Hmm, that's right, I have to trawl through the 4,955 various Betfairs, Betdaqs and Betdicks hunting for one, don't I? By which time the race is over and the horse has been retired to Sunny Pines Retraining Centre!

Definitely not! Alcohol! High heels! Typically I fell asleep for the first 15 mins and then there didn't seem to be anything at a racecourse. Did I miss anything? <_<

Happening all too regularly at the moment.............very annoying when waiting for something in particular. Luckily they repeated the Green Wing and I remembered to tape it.

It happens chez Mo too. I've lost count of the number of times I've fallen asleep waiting for sex.

I'm beginning to think it should be retitled "Silent, Witless" as it's getting awfully silly. The only possibly good thing is that the catatonic Sam has gone to haunt Oirland with her range of two facial expressions, leaving us with a rather bizarrely-clad, if more animated, Emilia Fox. But they're all working in Forensics, and I haven't seen a white coat yet! Standards have slipped already, so perhaps it's time to phone up the Gardai to put out an APB for the wistful one to return and restore the dress code.

Heaven forend - not Amanda the Puppy Hater (as she is known in our household!)

Daft cow bought a beautiful puppy bitch Weimaraner from a good friend of mine (I bred pup's Mum) and Amanda was carefully 'vetted' by Pat to ensure she knew exactly what she was letting herself in for (these 'luvvie' types have erratic working hours etc and Pat wanted to make sure Amanda had enough time to train pup etc). All answers were positively made - she and her man would be able to cope and her kid was also old enough to appreciate the pup etc etc etc... blah blah blah...

'Betty', as the puppy was called, had to be rehomed by Pat at 6 months of age, having never had a day's training in its life and because poor Amanda was too busy to train her and because 'Betty' was too bouncy and demanding and wasn't house-trained properly. Mind you, she kept Betty just long enough to appear with the pup in an advert.....

Er, yes - Betty would be.... Weis need training or they're hell-hounds - pup had a lovely temperament, fortunately and we got together to rehome her successfully. She was clean within a week.

The only good thing in Barmy Burton's favour was she at least sent the pup back to her breeder (although I think she got someone else to ring up about it).

Actors....
