Has anyone else been bamboozled in to getting one of these?

They are not so smart after all, are they?

They don't work, don't update when you top up online, and are generally utterly crap.

Energy companies! Can we all agree on them?

I'm about to attempt to type in a 20 digit number in a darkened storage room before I sit in the dark and cold all night.

Agreeing to having a smart meter is right up there with agreeing to go on Carousel once you hit 30 in Logan's Run.

Just say no (it's not a legal requirement) and leg it to safety with Jenny Agutter instead.
