As my old mate Arfur Fuxake would say, I reckon I'll need to paint a couple of walls on Saturday morning so that I can watch them dry during the afternoon.

It's either that or watch the Shergar Cup.

What should be an occasion for proper betting opportunities, given the prize money on offer, invariably ends up an utter joke of a meeting with non-triers, team tactics and inept jockeyship in abundance.

I have no problem with racing being a social event for many people but not for professionals.

I wish they would bin the idea.

I see most of the top jocks are riding at Haydock and Newmarket

Crazily the Shergar Cup sometimes gets a bigger crowd than King George day:D

There's enough wrong with racing to warrant attention but team competitions and racing leagues aren't the solution

Notwithstanding your argument (which I agree with), the Racing League is here. Is it best to concentrate on the 3-y-o's next week given wfa advantage at this time of year?
