I have many heterosexual friends and several gay friends too. All about the same age.

Nearly all the straights are bedraggled looking - beer guts - golfer chic clothes - ruddy complexions. The gay blokes all look great, are in shape and dress cool. The odd thing is that they all seem to eat alike and have the same exercise habits.

Why is this?

The gays are still having exuberant sex lives, and the straights have become routinely complacent, perhaps? Nothing keeps those pecs tight like a lot of regular deep breathing exercises, An... B)

But that's how you look, An. Is there something you're not telling us?

The Hetros are all mates

The Gays are either hunters or hunted, either way they need to be fit.

I never suspected you were looking at me like that Mo. Is there something you are not telling us?

Personally if I was gay, top of my list at the moment would be Jose Mourihno (Cheslsea), Tom Brady (New England Patriots), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), David Beckham (Real Madrid),

Now that's one of the more creative lines to try out on 'certain' girls. "I'm really a kind, sensitive, butch trapped in a man's body. If you could just imagine me as a woman..."

Hehe, yes the brilliantly gorgeous Frank Lampard...the phrase 'you just would' springs to mind.

Not sure Mourihno's my type, nice looking but a bit old for me, I would certainly stump up for a glass of his Portugese red wine in thanks for telling his players to take their shirts off more often.

Has to be said, for the female Chelsea supporter there is the added bonus, on top of having a brilliant team quite of few of them look good as well. And aren't complete thugs. And have a brain capacity above that of the average garden snail.

Can't explain the gay/straight differences though. It's just a shame really!

What brain capacity?....You wouldn`t look twice at Lampard if he wasn`t a footballer....chavish to be sure.

I assure you Euronymous that I am not and have never been remotely 'chavish', nor do I ever intend to be.

I can also assure you that if someone who has never kicked a football in their life but looks like Frank Lampard walked past me, I would certainly look twice. As a rule footballers aren't my 'type', specifically because most of them are overpaid moronic, arrogant gits!

Has anyone ever told you SL that you have exemplary taste? Shadow Leader is an all-time favourite horse of mine and your taste in men seems to be of a similar high standard!

Nah Ac - I'd allow him that!!! :D

Thankyou for the kind words, Zozzy - looks like we'll get on grand!! Does your good taste in men extend to the sublime Richard Guest?! :D

Yup, Shadow was a lovely horse, there were many, many tears on that tragic Champion Hurdle day.

SL, Guesty's not on my top ten but I can see where you're coming from alright. :D

As for the original Shadow Leader, that day was the first day of the first Cheltenham Festival I followed...NOT a good introduction! :(

I wasn`t accusing you of being chavish....Lampard comes across as one to me.
If i was gay i`d go for real men with hairy chests not clean cut footballers....how anodyne is Beckham for example.A complete wuss.

Ah I see. I can't say Frank has ever come across as chavish, he seems quite intelligent to me, however I agree with the Beckham sentiment. There's something worryingly androgynous about him at times, admittedly usually when his wife is on the scene... and you can hardly call her womanly.

Sorry I'm hijacking this thread again aren't I lol

Himself and Frank Lampard are just good looking. If I was gay I would not mind getting into the sack with either of them. The point of the thread is why are homeosexual's generally fitter. The answer is because its the best way to get laid.
