I meant to post earlier about this brilliant series that tells the story of Soul music from the very beginning via rhythm 'n blues and gospel, through the great Motown years to the present day. A variety of interesting talking heads, though not overdone for once, and some great music.

It's on BBC2 on Saturday evenings and we've had four of the six so far. If I'm out then the video is set for this for sure.
