I've been considering going to see them at Birmingham NEC in November, having heard they are very impressive. Has anyone seen them before? And, how long do the performances last, as I'm going to have to drag my mother with me as no one else is interested!

Yes, and they are, and no, I don't know how long the performances will last, but the NEC will. You generally get a programme of movements and then a break, then another programme, usually including a longish dressage-to-music ride. There will be books to buy and the programme itself is worth the money - which won't be that cheap! It's a wonderful spectacle.

Saw them in Vienna five or six years ago, couldn't recommend them enough.
